Product: FOAB E-Traceability • Environment: Pilot • Last updated: October 2026
The Fish Farm Owners Association of Bangladesh ("FOAB", "we", "our") operates the FOAB E-Traceability Pilot platform (accessible via pilot.foabbd.org and dedicated pilot mobile applications). This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and protection of personal and aquaculture operational data.
Public traceability reports generated for retail consumers and export inspection (accessible via QR codes on packaged lots) are strictly privacy-filtered. Public queries disclose only general district origin, verified species (e.g., Black Tiger Shrimp / Bagda), harvest date, and processing factory validation. Sensitive individual personal data, contact numbers, and private purchase prices are never exposed publicly.
All network communication requires TLS/HTTPS encryption. Authentication relies on verified Google, Apple, or signed JSON Web Tokens. Database access is strictly segregated with least-privilege service accounts and row-level authorization checks.
Participants may review, update, or request the deletion of their personal identity records at any time. Regulatory audit records required by international food safety laws are anonymized upon account closure. To request account deletion, visit our Account Deletion Page.
